Dr Ravi Kumar Academic Background:

Ravi Kumar has been a Consultant Paediatrician at the Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, Reading since August 2002. He did his Specialist training in the Oxford Deanery before starting his post as a Consultant. He looks after all babies and children with General Paediatric problems.

Ravi Kumar has a passion for teaching and training juniors and is involved in the recruitment, teaching, training and assessment of all trainees in the Oxford Deanery. He is currently the Deputy Regional Advisor for the Oxford Postgraduate School of Paediatrics. He is a MRCPCH examiner for the RCPCH. He teaches on the Oxford Paediatric echo course and runs the Cardiac Murmur course at Reading.

He has been working at The Berkshire Independent Hospital for the last 6 years. Ravi Kumar will be seeing private General Paediatrics referrals at The Berkshire Independent Hospital.

Dr Kumar is happy to come along to your practice meetings to give a talk on "infant feeding problems" and "Fits, faints & funny turns in children" or any other paediatric topics you may be interested in.
